We offer practical and emotional support, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Whether you would like to visit one of our Welcome Cafes, access peer support or you need urgent care, we’re here to help. You can refer yourself to our service whenever you need support.

Our Community Wellbeing Support is available for anyone over the age of 18, living in Colchester or Tendring.

We are open between 10am – 8pm, 7 days a week.

1 to 1 Support

We know that when you’re experiencing a mental health crisis, getting support early can make a difference. Our 1 to 1 Support service offers personalised help and access to wellbeing services.

Our 1 to 1 Support is available to anyone over the age of 18, living in Colchester or Tendring.

We are open between 10am – 11pm, 7 days a week.

Referrals can be made by healthcare or community professionals.

Working together for you

The Sanctuary works with a range of partners to make sure you always experience the highest quality of care. We know that only by working together, we can support people across Mid Essex to manage their mental health and live well.

We work closely with a wide range of partners, including Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (EPUT), as well as charities and voluntary organisations to help you.

We also work with local emergency departments, crisis teams, and other services to make sure you get the care and support you need, when you need it.

We’re here to help you every step of the way.
